It is important to note that, the aforementioned are only a handful of quandaries children face (Detailed categorical list here). Living in times that we do, dominated by influential media, surrounded with information overloads and connected throughout, our children are growing in an age of easy accessibility to whatever. Adding to such chaos of choices is peer pressure, the locality, the relatives and other such societal influences. Over the period, these problems start affecting the child's IQ (intelligence quotient), and they might appear to be less intelligible, whereas the reality may be far from the truth - unworked emotions.

Whether or not such accessibility is good or otherwise, the easy availability of options, the morality of choices, ethicality, the do’s and the don’ts - the tender minds wouldn’t realise the implications and the repercussions of their actions.

We do not get a manual of instructions to foster our children as we do when we purchase a product! The complex society will remain unchanged and indifferent; however every child is unique and special. It now, more so than ever, is hence important to put in extra efforts, invest special time and be a careful, considerate, rational and a responsible parent for the better future of our offsprings.

At Vatsalya, we offer a multitude of therapeutic interventions, counselling, psychotherapy, experiential learning methods and self-learning techniques for children with different problems.

As therapy progresses, awareness seeps in both - the child and parents. This helps the children become self-aware, emotionally balanced, and the process helps lessening grievances, bridges any broken aspect of the parent-child relation thereby reviving, restoring and rejuvenating it for good. Successively, as issues resolve, emotions sort out, the overall process brings about a clarity of mind, thereby improving even the intelligence quotient.
